Submit Your Work to be Published

February 27, 2024 Landry French

Submissions are now open for Hardin-Simmons University’s literary magazine, the Corral. Every student is encouraged to submit creative works ranging from drawings to poems, to photos, to dances, to performances, and more.

Dr. Laura Pogue, Professor of English, and Dr. Jason King, Professor of English and Writing, are guiding the student editorial staff through creating this year’s Corral. Of the publication, Dr. Pogue shared, “We want to communicate the tremendous legacy of the Corral and the voice it gives students to share their creativity. Creativity is so valuable in understanding being made in the image of God, the ultimate creative who even created the concept of creativity itself.”

Submissions will be accepted through March 18, 2024.
