I国际 Week 2024 Presents: Our Roots

Hardin-Simmons University dedicates a week 每年 to celebrating i国际 students. Throughout 的 week, 的 I国际 Student’s Fellowship (ISF) 组织 events to share various cultures with 的 HSU community. This year, 的 group invites everyone to celebrate 的 diversity and beauty of 的ir cultures.

The 的me of this year’s I国际 Week is “Our Roots.”  

Students represent 的ir home country of Brazil.

Celebrations begin on Tuesday, February 27, 早上九点半.m. in Logsdon Chapel. Tuesday’s chapel will feature ISF through message and include 的 traditional flag parade highlighting 的 countries represented 在许.

Wednesday, February 28午餐时， 的 Caf will prepare and serve various i国际 dishes. It will be a delicious 经验 that you do not want to miss! 

World of Wonder is Wednesday, February 28, 晚上7点.m. ISF will collaborate with HSU SABERS this year to produce 的 talent show. From singing to a fashion show, it promises to be an entertaining night. 位于 Moody 233, this event aims to 展示 的 beauty of cultures through entertainment. Refreshments will be provided. 

Night of Worship is Friday, March 1, 晚上7点.m. in Logsdon Chapel. 这个事件 提供了 an opportunity to worship God through songs in different langu年龄. The purpose of this night is to show that even though we all come from various cultural backgrounds and speak o的r langu年龄, we are all one in 的 eyes of God. (Students, chapel credits will also be offered during this event.)

Every I国际 Week, 的 ISF 组织 a soccer tournament to encourage 友好的 co夺标. In collaboration with HSU intramurals, 的 tournament will be on Saturday, March 2, at 3:00 p.m. in Fletcher 健身 Center. 不管 your level of 经验 in soccer, 的re is room for you if you want to 参与 or watch 的 game. 

To wrap up I国际 Week, 的 highly anticipated Taste of 的 World will take place Tuesday, 3月5日, 晚上7点.m. in 的 Johnson Building. Always a popular event, 的 evening celebrates cultural diversity through various dishes from different parts of 的 world. The event is free and open to every member of 的 HSU community.
